The much-talked film, Coffee with D has hit the cinemas today. However, the lead actor of the movie Sunil Grover is not at all happy with the makers.
The funny man took to Twitter to express his displeasure. He tweeted, “How do I promote something I don't know what is in it. Makers had promised me to show the film, they did not. Kal Kal karte Kalyug aa Gaya.”
In one of his interviews, the ace comedian said that he has nothing to do with the film and also admitted that he didn't write any open letter to Prime Minister Narender Modi.
There were also reports of Sunil not given an opportunity to promote his film on The Kapil Sharma Show where he plays the key character, Dr Mashoor Gulati. However, Sunil went on to rubbish the news later. After the controversy, the comedian said that he won't promote the film which resulted in another controversy.
