New Delhi: A few weeks ago Chitrangda Singh took Bollywood aback when she quit Babumoshai Bandookbaaz on grounds that the director forced her to do obscene scenes. Chitrangda alleged that Director Kushal Nandy asked her to lie on top of co-actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and enact a love making scene.
This revelation stirred almost everyone, but Nawazuddin has a different story to tell altogether. Nawaz, sided by Kushal and said that the things did not happen as reported.
After keeping mum on the matter for so long, Nawazuddin reportedly told a popular daily,
“We did a normal scene. There was nothing unacceptable about what we shot. The incident being described did not happen. Kushan is a decent softspoken person. He’s a gentleman, incapable of crass behaviour.”
Interestingly, after the incident Chitrangda in one of her interviews had said that Nawazuddin had also objected to one of their kissing scenes. She had said,
“Nawaz and I had also kissed in that montage, and now Kushan wanted a 7-second kiss in the intimate scene. Even Nawaz told him 'Kiss kiya toh hai, ab kya chahiye Kushan?'”

Chitrangda had also questioned the way Kushal worked at the sets. She had said,
“What is a bindaas woman? One who wears a petticoat and jumps on a man?”
The Desi Boyz actress had also said that Kushal has in fact told Nawazuddin, that he is looking for another heroine.
But, Nawaz’s statement paints a different picture.
It is being rumoured that post Chitrangda’s exit Richa Chadda might fit in her shoes, though, there has been no official confirmation yet.
