Saif Ali Khan is ready with his next film ‘Chef’. But currently, the actor’s attention is channelled in a different direction, and that is his newborn niece. On the auspicious day of Durga Navami, Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan gave birth to a baby girl with husband Kunal Khemu. Although, Saif Ali Khan was in capital from promoting his new venture, he shared he is really elated to become uncle for the first time. In an interview with ANI, the actor told that he’s never been an uncle before.
He said, "It is a happy time for us. I've never been an uncle before, so I am Uncle Saif now."
On Friday morning, Kunal Khemu announced the birth of a baby girl on Twitter and thanked his fans for their blessings and love. He tweeted, "We are over the moon to share we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this auspicious day Thank you for the love&blessing."
Soha Ali Khan looked gorgeous throughout her pregnancy. She kept her fans updated about her day-to-day activities as well as her maternity fashion.
Last month, Soha shared a picture with her nephew Taimur on Instagram, which created a wave on social media. In the picture, aunt Soha can be sitting comfortably with baby Taimur looking at her affectionately. Her pet beagle, Masti is also seen in the picture.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Raja Krishna Menon’s Chef, which is slated to release on October 6. Kunal Khemu will be seen in Golmaal’s next part ‘Golmaal Again’ with Ajay Devgn, Mithun Chakraborty, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and Tabu. It is scheduled to release on 22nd October, 2017.
