'Channa Mereya’, the soulful number from upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma has been winning hearts since it was launched. The audiences are going gaga over the song, but for Anushka filming the song was nothing short of a tough exercise.
The 28-year-old actress had a bumpy ride while shooting for song sequence, says the report published by a leading daily.
The bridal outfit she wore in the song weighed around 17 kgs plus the heavy jewellery making it an 20 kilo affair for poor Anushka. What made the task more difficult for Anushka was the fact that the song was picturised on the first floor of the palace with no elevators.
So, Anushka had no choice but to climb the stairs wearing the bulky dress and jewellery.
"I was looking like a beautiful bride but was not feeling like one with such heavy outfit," said Anushka.
The media reports state that Anushka used the stairs for around 25-30 times a day, over the four days that it took to shoot the complete sequence.
Woah! It was hell of a task!
We are sure Anuhska wouldn’t have felt the need to hit the gym for a few days after mounting the stairs so many times while wearing 20 kilos bridal outfit.
The movie is set to hit the screens on October 28 alongside Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’.
