Actor Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which is based on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and creates awareness regarding open defecation, has reportedly been ordered 8 verbal cuts by Central Board of Film Certification. It is being said that the star has used some crude words in the film that were asked to be removed by CBFC. Though the movie is based on the strong subject still ‘sanskaari’ CBFC got something to chop from the film.
A sourced from CBFC revealed that there are some dialogues mouthed by Akhsya’s character in the film that are not amusing and have sanctity attached to them. The reaction of the team on CBFC’s decision is still awaited.
Lately, Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan were seen promoting Akshay’s film on social media. Khiladi Kumar these days is going to different shows and events to promote his films. He even went on the sets of popular shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!
Akshay will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time with actress Bhumi Pednekar in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movie is all set to hit the screens on August 11. The actor will next be seen in Gold alongside Mouni Roy.
