Race 3 Box Office Collection: Salman Khan’s film puts up strong fight, earns 120.71 crore

Bollywood star Salman Khan starrer Race 3 opened the domestic box office by minting a staggering Rs 29.17 crore on the first day. The Eid festivities further boosted the movie's collection which made it earn a whopping amount of Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday and Rs 39.16 crore on Sunday. The upward trend continued Monday and it collected Rs 14.24 crore on the fourth day, taking the movie's total box office collections to Rs 120.71 crore.

Irrfan Khan on battling cancer: This realisation made me surrender and trust, irrespective of the outcome

The Hindi medium actor Irrfan Khan is battling with cancer and is getting treated in London after being diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine. Irrfan was recently seen promoting his forthcoming film Karwaan on social media platform.

Here is Irrfan's note from London shared with TOI:

It’s been quite some time now since I have been diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine cancer. This new name in my vocabulary, I got to know, was rare, and due to fewer study cases, and less information comparatively, the unpredictability of the treatment was more. I was part of a trial-and-error game. I had been in a different game, I was travelling on a speedy train ride, had dreams, plans, aspirations, goals, was fully engaged in them. And suddenly someone taps on my shoulder and I turn to see. It’s the TC: “Your destination is about to come. Please get down.” I am confused: “No, no. My destination hasn’t come.” “No, this is it. This is how it is sometimes.”

He comes, takes the torch by my bed and puts it in his mouth like the doctor. He keeps doing things like that. He likes to see the moon, which is nice. He watches it before he goes to sleep every day. He loves nature and is quite outdoorsy. He imitates us doing yoga by making some painful noises which obviously, I’m making while I’m stretching. He does a good side bend and falls over.”

Chart-topping rapper XXXTentacion shot dead in Florida

US rapper XXXTentacion, who shot to fame with consecutive hit albums, has been killed aged 20. He was reportedly shopping for a motorcycle in south Florida when a gunman opened fire on his vehicle, reported BBC.

Police in Broward County said XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. He was often described as one of rap's most controversial artists and was facing domestic violence charges.
