Leaving behind celebrities, commoner Manveer Gurjar yesterday became the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 10’ and took home the trophy along with the prize money of Rs 40 lakh. This news made people elated but Manveer’s father surprised everyone when he announced that half of the prize money won by the contestant will be donated to superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ charitable foundation.
Manveer revealed that after he became winner people started treating him like celebrity but he is still ‘desi munda’ by heart. He has been the consistent performer on the show. The ‘Indiawale’ contestant has won many hearts with his straightforward attitude and competitive spirit.
The winner of the last season of ‘Bigg Boss’ Prince Narula also donated Rs. 5 lakh to ‘Being human’ in the past.
Celebrity contestant Bani J became first runner up of the show. Though she got the support of many celebrities including her best friend Gauhar Khan but the genuinely of the commoner contestant wooed the audience. Bani’s friend Gaurav Chopra looked disappointed with the decision as he wanted his friend to win.
Manu Punjabi quit the show after choosing Rs 10 lakh over the trophy after which Lopa was evicted.
Manu shares a great rapport with Manveer and was very happy seeing his friend lifting the trophy.
