After much of speculations about the contestants of the much awaited reality TV show Bigg Boss 10, the first participant of the show has been confirmed as television actor Mayur Verma.
Mayur recently told an entertainment portal that he has been selected as a contestant of the show, which will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
The actor, who is known for his role as Kartik Malhotra in ‘Swaragini’, is indeed quite excited to be a part of the show.
Apparently, he was also approached for Bigg Boss 9 as well for wild card entry. However, he had then refused to be a part of the show because of his break up with his then girlfriend Marina Kuwar.
Interestingly, Marina was one of the wild card entrants of BB9 and bagged a lot of attention because of her lap dance on the show. Mayur mentioned that he wasn’t comfortable sharing the screen space with Marina immediately after their split so he had turned down BB9.
While Mayur has confirmed his selection for the tenth season of the show, the makers are yet to make any official announcement in this regard.
Several other celebs are also being rumoured to be the part of the show including self proclaimed god woman Radhe Maa, late actress Pratyusha Benerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, etc
Interestingly, Bigg Boss 10 has come up with an interesting twist this time as for the first time the show will feature commoners along with the celebs.
The quest to search the perfect contestants amongst the commoners is also on, as thousands have send entry to participate in the show.
‘Bigg Boss 10’ will go on air on October 16 on Colors. The show has retained its previous year time slot and the episodes will be telecasted on Monday-Friday at 10:30 pm.
