If you are looking forward to Amitabh Bachachan gracing the big screen soon then, you are in for a treat. The megastar of Bollywood is collaborating with “Tubelight” director Kabir Khan for his next venture.
It surely looks like after giving two back-to-back superhits with actor Salman Khan, filmmaker Kabir is ready to make it all the more big by casting supertar Amitabh in his upcoming film.
The director who has delivered multiple hits, including the Salman Khan blockbusters Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is one of Bollywood's most sought-after directors.
Kabir has reportedly had a couple of meetings with Big B. The pre-production team, according to reports, have begun working on the project already.
"He (Bachchan) is doing a film with Kabir, which will be the first film under Kabir's banner. An official announcement will be made soon," sources confirmed.
The film will mark Kabir's first collaboration with the 74-year-old actor.
The sources, however, refused to share details about Bachchan's role in the film.
The film is likely to go on floors later this year. Currently, Kabir is awaiting the release of his directorial "Tubelight" featuring Salman.
It will hit the cinema houses on 25 June.
