Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan's wax figure at Madame Tussauds will soon be tweaked and refurbished.
Big B was the first Bollywood personality to enter Madame Tussauds in the form of a wax figure in 2000.
The 73-year-old star took to his official blog to say: “That done there is time spent with Madame Tussauds... They are back with me here wanting to refurbish the statue in MT, and are taking great pains for measurement and photographs and matchings that need to be done.”
He added: “And yes 'Could we please use some of your clothes that do not be used presently, shoes, shirts jackets, glasses... and the medically positioned to check the colours above all else.”
The actor, who has regaled movie goers for over four decades with his performance-based roles, was fascinated by all the modern technology.
He said: “Fascinating to see all the modern and technical support they have today for such and other jobs ... for, when my image was first made ... mine was the only Indian, amidst great fury over my status and understanding, that came up in the gallery years and years ago.”

Madame Tussauds commemorates the world's most popular personalities by creating strikingly similar wax statues.
The museum has branches in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, New York and Washington DC. In Asia, it's present in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore and Wuhan.
Indian celebrities like Mahatma Gandhi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are some of the names who have been featured at the museum.
On the professional front, Amitabh is awaiting the release of "TE3N" and “Pink”.
