Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif along with director Ali Abbas Zafar came LIVE on Twitter to talk about their upcoming film Bharat. The film which is scheduled to release on June 5, is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and has several Bollywood actors in important roles. The rest of the members of Bharat team were not seen in the video. The movie, which is based on Korean hit film An Ode to My Father also has Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.
During the question and answer session, team Bharat spoke at length about the film and answered several questions by fans. Before the commencement of almost 13-minute long Twitter live, fans were asked to put up their questions with the hashtag #AskTeamBharat. Selective among them were chosen by the team. First of all, Salman spoke about his experience of working with Sunil Grover. Calling the comedian one of the most talented actors he has seen so far, Salman mentioned that Sunil gets into the character he plays. Joining Salman, Katrina too praised Sunil's ''incredible'' knowledge about books and culture. In the end, Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman call the comedian a ''guru''.
The actors also spoke about their characters and the experience of playing different age groups. A fan asked Katrina about what went into the preparations of her character Kumud, which is the 'most different character' she has played so far. The actress opened up about the hard work and consistency that was needed for the role. She also applauded her director friend Ali Abbas Zafar for writing such a character. The actress narrated the entire journey of brainstorming sessions that underwent cracking the physicality of the character.
Throughout the clip, Salman is seen pulling Katrina's leg. He also took a sly dig at Priyanka Chopra for walking out of Bharat at the last moment. The superstar twice mentioned the limited time Katrina got for the preparations after PeeCee's exit.
When Salman was asked about the best collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar among Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat, the actor replied Marigold. Salman, then went on to reveal that Zafar was involved in the making of 2007 Hollywood film starring Ali Larter. While answering a question, Salman said that he likes all the songs of Bharat. For unversed, makers of Bharat have released two songs so far- Slow Motion and Chaashni.
At the end of the video, Katrina tells Zafar that he can be a good talk show host.
