Salman Khan has dropped another track from his upcoming film Bharat, titled Zinda. It is the same song that plays in the background of the trailer while tracing Bharat's journey from his childhood to adulthood. Zinda also marks Ali Abbas Zafar's debut as a lyricist and he has done quite a job, we must say. The sole purpose of the song; to instill patriotism and passion in the listeners, has been rightfully served. The credit also goes to Vishal-Dadlani for the music, which includes the trademark drum rolls and electric guitar feels. The vocals have been lent by Shantanu Hudlikar, Abhishek Khandelwal and Manasi Tare.
Zinda is filmed on Salman Khan with a glimpse here and there of Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover who are playing crucial roles in Bharat. Interestingly, the video of the song doesn't show many new scenes from the film. It seems like Ali Abbas Zafar has maintained not to give away much about the film before the release.
Bharat has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is based on Korean hit film An Ode To My Father. It is a multi-starrer film with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and others in important roles. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to play the lead actress in the film. But due to her wedding with Nick Jonas, she walked out of the project at the last moment.
