Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and actress Priyanka Chopra - sharing screen space for the first time after 10 years - on Sunday began shooting for their highly anticipated project 'Bharat', set to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
The director whose previous two outings with Salman - 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' - received a thunderous response at the box office, took to Twitter to seek blessings.
"So here we are together again.... Bharat begins its shoot today. May God bless us. Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Atul Agnihotri."
Katrina Kaif , who was a part of both those previous films, too, congratulated the director by commenting on his tweet. She wrote, ‘Congrats buddy.’ Check out the tweet right here:
Salman and Priyanka were last seen together on the silver screen in 'God Tussi Great Ho'. The duo has also done hit films like 'Salaam-E-Ishq' and 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi'.
Their fourth film, 'Bharat', is already amongst Bollywood's much-awaited projects since it was announced earlier this year.
Besides Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra , Bharat also satrs Disha Patani in a lead role.
Spilling the beans about the plot of the movie, director Ali Abbas Zafar earlier told DNA that the story has many historical references as it spans over a period of 70 years. The movie will essay the life of a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. Buzz also states that Salman will be sporting five different looks for the film.
