Superstar Salman Khan recently unveiled the first look of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Now, the star is in headlines for a different reason. Reportedly, the actor is keen to endorse an anti-open defecation campaign and will soon collaborate with BMC for the same.

According to media reports, Salman has decided to donate five mobile toilets under his Being Human Foundation. The actor complained about people relieving outside his apartment and also stated that this could be the reason of health problems among the residents of Bandstand. Thus, in order to generate awareness among people, he has decided to become the face of this campaign.

However, nothing official has been said from Salman’s side.

Assistant Municipal Commissioner Kiran Dighavkar said that Salman’s presence will enhance the impact of the campaign. He further revealed that they have to work on every aspect of the campaign adding that they have planned to place mobile toilets at all chronic open defecation spots.

There is no denying that Salman has a golden heart and he has done many charitable works in the past. Now, if this news turns out to be true then it will be very different from all the previous endorsements that he had done. Movie buffs can just wait to hear the same in Bhaijaan’s words.

On a related note, Salman is currently occupied with the work of ‘Tubelight’. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film is slated to release next year.
