Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” has not only won people’s hearts but also scored a massive win at the box-office.
Moving closer ro the coveted 200 crore figure, the desi romantic film has minted Rs 195 crore in worldwide collections, according to Boxofficeindia.com.
This means that the film has now become the second biggest worldwide grosser of the year after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees'.
'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is Varun and Alia's third film together after their debut flick 'Student of the Year' and the first in the franchise 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film released ahead of the long Holi weekend on March 10.
Earlier, “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” minted Rs 13 crore on its first day surpassing the opening day collection of its first part, which had collected a decent 9 crores in 2014.
Interestingly, “Student of The Year “also had an opening of 9 crores.
As always Varun and Alia have performed wonderfully and showed a beautiful chemistry between each other. Because of their heart winning performances, both are being praised by everyone.
