Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's revenge drama Badla is doing roaring business at the box office. The film, which hit the screens on March 8, has crossed the Rs 60-crore mark within ten days of its release. Director Sujoy Ghosh who has carved a niche for himself with his thrillers like Kahaani, has astonished the audience again.

Badla is a remake of the Spanish thriller, The Invisible Guest. The film revolves around Naina Sethi (Taapsee Pannu), who has been accused in a murder case. Her only hope is lawyer Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan). He has a track record of winning every case in his career. However, this time, he has only three hours to uncover the truth.

Badla, a joint production venture between Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment, released on March 8, International Women’s Day. The film also stars Amrita Singh, Tony Luke, Manav Kaul and Tanveer Ghani in important roles, among others.
