Badhaai Ho Box Office Collection Day 4: Amit Sharma directorial continues its winning streak, earns Rs 45.06 cr

Handsome hunk Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhai Ho has taken over the box office like wildfire. Not just the critics but the viewers have also fallen in love with this unique tale of family love and cute banter between the characters in the film. After a smashing opening day collection, Badhaai Ho has just witnessed an upward trend. On Day 4, the film managed to earn Rs 13.50 crores, making its total collection till date as Rs 45.06 crores. It won’t come as a surprise if the movie crosses the 50 crore mark in another couple of days.

Revealing the film’s latest box office numbers, Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#BadhaaiHo emerges a BIG FAVOURITE at the ticket windows... Has SENSATIONAL extended weekend... Thu 7.29 cr, Fri 11.67 cr, Sat 12.60 cr, Sun 13.50 cr. Total: ₹ 45.06 cr. India biz... Didn’t release in Madhya Pradesh due to cinema strike. Otherwise, the weekend total would be higher.”

Undoubtedly, with Andhadhun first and now Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann Khurrana has become the actor of the season. He has not just impressed the audience with the versatility in his acting skills but has shown how small budget movies can also do wonders on the box office if the content is right. Ayushmann is overwhelmed by the positive response of his film. Talking about his successful career, Ayushmann said, ‘’I think I have been lucky enough in my journey to have got the right films and I'm thankful to all my filmmakers for believing in me."

Badhaai Ho is a hilarious yet realistic tale of a young man Nakul whose mother gets pregnant in her fifties. Instead of aborting the unplanned pregnancy, she decides to keep the baby. Embarrassed son starts keeping distance from his parents only to reunite with them later. Badhaai Ho was directed by Amit Sharma, who faced a similar situation in his own family.
