Badhaai Ho Box Office Collection Day 17: Ayushmann starrer is the 10th Bollywood film of 2018 to hit 100 crore
It wouldn't be wrong to say that this year belongs to Ayushmann Khurrana. The actor is winning over the audience with his amazing performances, one film at a time; first Andhadhun and now Badhaai Ho which is continuing to fare so well at the box office that has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. The film has opened to rave reviews and managed to tickle the funny bones of the viewers as well. Badhaai Ho Box Office Collection now stands at Rs 100.10 crore at the 17th day of its opening.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, ““#BadhaaiHo remains UNSHAKABLE and UNSTOPPABLE even in Week 3... Crosses 100 cr on Day 17... [Week 3] Fri 2.35 cr, Sat 3.50 cr. Total: ₹ 100.10 cr. India biz”.
Badhaai Ho has now become the 10th Bollywood film of 2018 to hit 100 crore mark after Padmaavat, Raazi, Gold, Baaghi 2, Raid, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Sanju, Race 3 and Stree.
“I repeat, ₹ 100 cr Club is *not* the yardstick to gauge the success of a film, but it ought to be celebrated when mid-sized films like #SKTKS, #Raazi, #Stree and #BadhaaiHo [racing towards ₹ 100 cr] hit century... Reinforces the fact that good content will always find takers”, added Taran Adarsh.
Badhaai Ho also stars Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles. It is the story of a middle-aged couple, played by Neena and Gajraj, who are expecting their third child. The film not only grabbed eyeballs for the unconventional subject it is based on, but also noteworthy performances by the actors
The film has been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Vineet Jain, Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures.
