Badhaai Ho New Song Badhaaiyan Tenu shows embarrassed son trying to come to terms with mom’s pregnancy
The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho is already winning hearts. The two-minute videos left everybody in splits, showing a mid-fifties woman, a mother of two, pregnant with her third child. The plot is undoubtedly unique and it’s creating a buzz for all the right reasons. On Thursday, the makers dropped the first song of the film Badhaaiyan Tenu which was also heard in bits in the trailer. The music video showcases the dilemma of a young man who is embarrassed by his parents’ sex life.
The song is set up in a celebratory mood but also shows the Kaushik family trying to cope up with the embarrassment of an untimely and unplanned pregnancy. Neena Gupta, who is playing the pregnant mother in the film, is trying to hide her face in awkwardness.
Nonetheless, despite the family’s embarrassment, the song is cheerful and just like the trailer, it will make you laugh out loud. Ayushmann Khurrana rightly said on his Instagram, ‘you are going to listen to this on loop’. Well if not listen, we’re going to watch this song on loop. It’s just so hilarious.
Badhaaiyan Tenu is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and penned by Vayu. It has been voiced by Brijesh Shandailya, Romy and Jordan. It’s going to be the perfect baby shower song of the recent times.
Badhaai Ho is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Vineer Jain. Just like other Ayushmann Khurrana films, it is based on a quirky topic of unplanned pregnancy. It’s slated to hit the silverscree on October 19, 2018 clashing with Namaste England.
