The musical reality show Om Shanti Om will be aired on Life OK. Along with Baba Ramdev and Sonakshi Sinha, Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor and singer Shekhar Ravjiani will be the among the panel. The shooting of the show will be done at Powai studio from Tuesday.
“It’s a youth-oriented show and the contestants will be singing bhajans and devotional songs set to contemporary tunes. Sonakshi is the perfect combination of the traditional and the modern. She also has a great connect with youngsters,” informed a source.
The source further added that Aparshakti Khurana, who played a jagrata singer in Shashank Khaitan’s romcom Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is the host of the show.
Sharing an update of the show Sonakshi recently via her social networking site said, ‘’Back to the grind and loving it! Shooting for something super special and the first of its kind... will announce soon!”
The sources further informed that Baba Ramdev will be present on the show for few episodes only. And the singing reality show will guide contestants more about focus than competition.

The source further added, “Ramdev will share insight and teachings with the contestants as well as the audience.”
Sonakshi was last seen judging the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8.
