Mumbai: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on Gandhi family and demanded to rename the national assets named after them.
In a series of tweets on Tuesday night, the Kapoor and Sons actor, unleashed unrestricted high decibel diatribe against Gandhi family alleging they seem to have taken public institutions as their father’s property.
"Change Gandhi family assets named by the Congress. Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road. Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha?," Rishi Kapoor said in a series of tweets.
Stating that Congress properties are rampant, he asked if roads in the capital van change why can't the name of the Congress property

Questioning the current trend of naming public spaces on politicians only, The 63 year old actor suggested venues should be named after cultural ambassadors Lata, Rafi,Kishore, Mukesh ,Manna dey.

Known for not mincing his words, Kapoor has a strong following of over 1 million Twitteratis and he takes on everything that happens to have invited his ire.
This in not the the first time he has targeted Gandhi family, he had recently tweeted baout Agustawestland scam asking for stern punishment against those who took bribes. He had also taken a swipe at Rahul Gandhi after he returned India from a long sabbatical, he veteran actor had tweeted : "Why this fuss and hullabaloo? Someone just back after a holiday yaar give him a break. When is he to enjoy his money? In faltu days na? Samjho".
