The fact that Prabhas dedicated a whooping five years for SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is not hidden. Further, it was said that the South sensation didn’t sign any film or endorsement deals during the period. However, now that Baahubali 2 has hit the cinemas and stealing everyone’s hearts, the actor is all set to become the brand ambassador of a popular smartphone. Fresh reports suggest that Prabhas is the new face of Gionee, the Chinese smartphone brand.
Gionee already has India’s young leading stars such as Virat Kohli, Alia Bhatt, Shruti Haasan, Dulquer Salmaan and Diljit Dosanjh as its ambassadors. Now, they have managed to rope in the Baahubali star. “We are extremely proud to announce our association with the mighty Prabhas. We are positive that our association with Prabhas will further our proposition of stronger batteries and better selfies,” Gionee India Country CEO and MD Arvind R Vohra said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Prabhas who was holidaying in the US after the mammoth success of his film, was spotted back in India recently. The superstar looks leaner as compared to his Baahubali avatar. The 37-year-old actor visited celebrity hairstylist Hakim Aalim in order to ditch his extensive Baahubali tresses.
Recently, the internet was abuzz with the news of Prabhas and filmmaker SS Rajamouli planning to collaborate once again for another film. Both of them are reportedly in talks and are in search of a good idea. If reports are to be believed, the actor is in talks with Rajamouli for a film. Both are discussing ideas but nothing has been finalised as of now. It is being said that the film will be grand but is definitely not Baahubali 3. After director locks the idea, script work will be done and film will take at least a year to roll.
