Baahubali 2: Prabhas starrer rakes in Rs 19 crore in US even before release

Baahubali: The Conclusion is all set to hit screens tomorrow and people are waiting for it with bated breath. Now, the film has set a record in US even before its release.

Baahubali: The Conclusion is all set to hit screens tomorrow and people are waiting for it with bated breath. Now, the film has set a record in US even before its release. The advance ticket sales of the film have eclipsed the highest Indian grossing film on the opening day.

According to the US distributor of Baahubali 2, Great India Films, the film has already earned $3 million (Rs 19 crore approx) in advance booking. Not only, this the tickets are being sold $100,000 (Rs 64 lakhs) every hour.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the details on Twitter.

Well, this clearly indicates the huge fan following of the film. Baahubali 2 is set to release on almost 9000 screens worldwide. The film will open to 6500 screens in India. Trade analysts have predicted that the film is going to get earth-shattering opening.

Baahubali 2 is the second instalment of Baahubali franchise. The first part of the film Baahubali: The Beginning received great response at the box office and was also applauded by the critics. People are eagerly waiting to find out, why Kattappa killed Baahubali.

 

If reports are to be believed then Prabhas will be having triple role in the film.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Conclusion also features Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj and Tamannaah.
