The Commissionerate Police arrested most wanted ATM thief Sambhav Acharya on Monday while he was watching one of the most awaited films Baahubali: The Conclusion in the theatre.
The accused, a resident of Balichandrapur area of Jajpur district, is involved in more than 50 cases of looting ATMs.
"A case was registered against him at Capital Police Station here in 2007 besides a few other cases at various police stations in the state. Our special squad arrested him from a cinema complex today (Monday)," said Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police Satyabrata Bhoi.
On a related note, Baahubali: The Conclusion is doing phenomenal business at the box office and has broken many records. The film smashed the records made of Dangal and Sultan and gives the answer to the question, why Kattappa killed Baahubali.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the movie is the second instalment of Baahubali franchise. The film features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in key roles.
