Baahubali 2 becomes 1st ever Indian film to cross 1000 crore, watch success video

It is indeed raining Baahuabli 2 everywhere! The SS Rajamouli and Prabhas combo has created a massive buzz across the globe. The film is on a record-breaking spree since its release.

The latest feat achieved by Baahubali: The Conclusion is that the epic drama has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.

The makers of the film were simply ecstatic and have released a new success teaser.

Now that the film has collected a whooping Rs 1000 crore plus at the box-office, the makers took to their Twitter handle to release the video.

“#Baahubali2 New Teaser... Jai Maahishmathi”, the caption read”.

The SS Rajamouli film , which is laden with special effects, has surpassed 2014 Bollywood blockbuster PK, which made around $120 million, as India’s biggest-grossing movie yet.

Baahubali 2  has crossed Rs 1,000 crore (ten billion) in worldwide gross collections, outdoing Aamir Khan’s PK which was previously the number one Indian film worldwide,” said Indian film trade analyst Ramesh Bala.

Bollywoodhungama.com, which tracks India’s movie industry, also reported that Baahubali 2 had become the highest grossing Indian film worldwide in history.

The film stars Prabhas in the titular role and rana Daggubati as antagonist Bhallala Deva. Anushka Shetty plays the role of Devsena, Ramya Krishnan stars as Sivagami while Sathyaraj played the role of Katappa. Baahubali 2 released two years after the first part - Baahubali: The Beginning.
