Actor Tiger Shroff and actress Disha Patani’s film Baaghi 2 is doing wonderful business at the box office. Despite mixed reviews, the film opened to humongous response and crossed the Rs 100 cr mark in just six days. Baaghi 2 minted Rs 9.10 cr on Wednesday and the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 104.90 cr. The numbers were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the details. He tweeted, “And #Baaghi2 hits a century...100 cr and counting... Third film to cross Rs 100 cr mark in 2018, after #Padmaavat and #SKTKS... Fri 25.10 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 27.60 cr, Mon 12.10 cr, Tue 10.60 cr, Wed 9.10 cr. Total: Rs 104.90 cr. India biz.
Baaghi 2 has become the third film of the year to make its entry to the coveted Rs 100 cr club after Padmaavat and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. In fact, the movie has also beaten the first day collection of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and Akshay Kumar starrer PadMan.
Tiger’s film had some high-octane action sequences but it was riddled with holes.
Along with Tiger and Disha, Baaghi 2 also featured Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Ahmed Khan and was the sequel to 2016 film Baaghi.
