The box-office battle between stars is nothing new and, now the Ajay Devgn starrer film Baadshaho has thrashed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal. JHMS featuring SRK and Anushka Sharma in lead roles earned Rs 64.32 crore within 29 days of its opening. On the other hand, Baadshaho starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta has collected Rs 68.24 crore at the box-office in just nine days.

The Milan Luthria film Baadshaho may go long way to go in the future and some experts have even predicted that the film will enter the coveted 100 crore club soon. However, the box-office figures are reflecting a downward trend in its second week. At the end of week 1, the film stood at Rs 64.14, which means till its second Tuesday, it has minted only Rs 9.18 crore.

Baadshaho has an Emergency backdrop and showcases a run and chase game between sundry security forces involving army and cops and a bunch of miscreants. Meanwhile, the Imtiaz Ali film Jab Harry Met Sejal is a romantic comedy which follows the lives of Harry and Sejal who unsuspectingly falls in love with each other in Europe, while searching for Sejal’s engagement ring.
