Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl
Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up to impress us once again with his experimental role in a quirky movie produced by Ekta Kapoor. Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who has earlier written the dialogues for Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back, Sohail Khan’s Freaky Ali and Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi. Shaandilyaa has also co-written another Ekta Kapoor's project Jabariya Jodi, which has Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. Dream Girl has an oven-fresh pairing for Nushrat Bharucha along with Ayushmann.
Ekta Kapoor and Ayushmann took to social media accounts to share the first look of Dream Girl. Announcing that the filming of the movie has begun, Ekta wrote, ''An incredible story that's going to baffle you, make you laugh and then win your hearts''. In the poster, Ayushmann can be seen on a bike draping a yellow saree with grey and golden border. Sporting sari over a white t-shirt, Ayushmann is stunned (we don't know why) and is also wearing slippers. Don't miss bangles in his hand. Check out the poster below:
Sharing the poster, Ayushmann writes on Instagram, ''As whacky as it can get! Here's the first glimpse of my look in and as #DreamGirl. Thoughts?'' Earlier, Ayushmann announced the movie in the quirkiest way possible. He shared a clip in which he and his team can be seen brainstorming over idea of his next film. Perplexed Ayushmann and his team fail to come up with new idea, however, at the end, he does get his 'dream' project. ''Of every possible role, this one I'd be honest, would have never crossed my mind! But here I am, to play a role in and as Dream Girl,'' he captioned the video.
Talking about the project, Ayushmann told Mumbai Mirror that he can't reveal much at this point but it is the funniest script he has ever heard. Moreover, he will be experimenting with his voice this time. Ayushmann Khurrana is basking in the success of his back-to-back hit films- AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho. With each and every movie, the 34-year-old actor is raising the bar for himself.
