Assamese actor and singer Bidisha Bezbaruah, who was recently seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos, was found hanging at her rented accommodation in Gurugram on Monday. Police has arrested her husband Nisheet Jha in connection with the case. The family of the actress has alleged that it was her husband’s extra-marital affair that forced Bidisha to take this tragic step. The lady was found hanging from the ceiling fan on Monday night.
The couple shifted to the new apartment recently and most of their belongings were still unpacked. Reports suggest that there were strain relations between the couple. Deputy Commissioner of Police stated that Bidisha’s husband called her but when she didn’t pick the phone, he called the broker, who helped them in taking the house on rent. The broker and some neighbours broke open the door and found the actress dead.
However, Nisheet’s father has refuted all allegations made by Bidita’s family saying that the talk about extra-marital is baseless and little problems and misunderstanding in marriage is common these days.
Bidisha got married to Nisheet in 2016.
The actress has acted in many TV shows and plays. She was also seen in in a song sequence in Jagga Jasoos.
