A few days ago reports started doing rounds of media suggesting that actor Arshad Warsi has said that it could be either Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone as the female lead in ‘Golmaal 4’. But now, the actor who has been a regular part of the Golmaal franchisee, has said that he never gave any name.
Arshad, who will next be seen in The Legend of Michael Mishra, lashed out on social media for being misquoted and clarified that he did not confirm anybody's name for Golmaal 4.
“I did not confirm any leading lady for 'Golmaal 4'. Media gave me Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone's name and I said could be. WTF! Arshad, who has been a part of the franchise since first film Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, posted on Twitter on Friday.
Directed by Manish Jha, The Legend of Michael Mishra is slated to release on August 5.
