After the grand success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, movie buffs were eagerly waiting for actor Prabhas to team up with actress Anushka Shetty in Saaho. But, this may not be happening as the latest reports suggest that the actress has lost out the golden opportunity because of her weight. This is known to all that Anushka’s role in Saaho was no way similar to Baahubali’s Devasena. This time, she had to play a trendy and modern girl and thus, she was asked to reduce weight.
A source revealed that Anushka was training too hard to get the perfect physique for her role but she was still about five to eight kilos over weight and this could be the reason, the lady may not be the part of the film. However, nothing official has been said on the same.
Few days back, celebrities from south attended SIIMA 2017 but Anushka didn’t show up. It was being said that the lady wanted to safeguard her look from Saaho and this was the reason behind her absence.
Anushka was asked to gain weight for her previous films Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Size Zero. Thus, it was becoming difficult for her to get in shape again. It is yet to be seen if these reports are true.
Written and directed by Sujeeth, most of the scenes of Saaho will be shot in Mumbai. The movie also stars actor Neil Nitin Mukesh as an antagonist.
