After actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli made the official announcement about their wedding, congratulatory messages started to pour in for the lovely couple. But, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh didn’t wish the newlyweds on social media and this raised many eyebrows. Now, if latest reports are to be believed, Padmavati stars sent personal message to the couple along with a beautiful bouquet of roses. However, Virushka is reportedly enjoying their honeymoon in Rome and thus they were not there to accept the gift.
According to a source, Deepika likes to add personal things in everything and social media can sometimes be cold to express feelings. Thus, she chose this method to give best wishes. Well, if the report is true then it is indeed a sweet gesture.
Speculations were rife from quite some time that Deepika and Anushka didn’t share a great bond. In fact, during an episode of Koffee With Karan, the Jab Harry Met Sejal actress herself admitted that she is not good friends with the dimpled beauty. It seems that as Anushka has entered the new phase of her life, DeepVeer are also very happy.
Virat and Anushka got married in a private ceremony in Italy. The couple will be hosting a wedding reception for their family in Delhi on December 21 and for their friends in Mumbai on December 26. They will welcome the New Year in South Africa after which the lady will return to Mumbai.
Anushka is gearing up for the release of Pari. She will also start shooting for Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaga.
