Just like she did last year, actress Anushka Sharma has once again asked everyone to celebrate an animal friendly Diwali. In a video, she shared on her micro-blogging website Twitter, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress urged everyone to keep in mind that animals and birds are very sensitive to the loud noise of crackers.
Anushka said that humans can speak their discomfort from the noise, but animals can’t do that. This is why we should celebrate a PAWsitive Diwali.
"I can scream stop and someone can help me and turn off this annoying and irritating sound. Unfortunately, animals don't have a voice, so they cannot communicate for themselves. Diwali is a very difficult time for them," Anushka said.
" I really want to request you all to help animals and birds by celebrating a noise free and pollution free Diwali. It is a festival of lights, so lets light up everyone's life. Wish you all a very happy Diwali and a very positive Diwali," she added.
