Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu starrer Sriram Raghavan’s directorial venture Andhadhun, which released this Friday, received positive response of audience. The crime-thriller, Andhadhun earned a total of Rs 2.50 crore at box office. Andhadhun is a story about a blind pianist, played by Ayushmann. Many mysterious events takes place in the life of the blind pianist. Ayushmann’s Andhadhun also had a clash with Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain’s Loveyatri at box office.
According to the reports of Box Office India (BOI), ‘’#Andhadhun And #Loveyatri Open Poorly - #Venom Good.’’ Andhadhun also had a clash with Hollywood science/fiction Venom. BOI wrote, ‘’ #Venom Beats #Loveyatri and #Andhadhun On Day One.’’

Set in Pune, Sriram Raghavan’s film starts off with Aakash falling in love with Sophie (Radhika Apte). The first twenty minutes is filled with generous songs and character development sequences. And then, all of a sudden everything changes when Aakash meets Simi (Tabu). You find yourself in a roller coaster ride so filled with thrills that you don’t get time to realize anything as the film moves from one point to the other rapidly taking you by surprise one at a time.
AndhaDhun belongs to Ayushmann as the film revolves around his 'blindness'. He sheds his image of a romantic hero and delivers a performance he might find challenging to ace.
