Veteran actress Amrita Singh has refuted the reports of her tiff with Kareena Kapoor because of her daughter Sara and said nothing of this sort has ever happened.
“Aaj kal mere naam ke bahut bill phaade ja rhe hain”, Amrita told a leading daily.
It was reported that Amrita Singh is mad over Kareena Kapoor for being a bad influence on her daughter Sara Ali Khan. Apparently, Amrita was not pleased with the way Sara was dressed up during her step-mom Kareena’s birthday party. She was wearing a white crop top and was flaunting her waist line. Sara has always been seen wearing long tops, lehengas and flowing kurtas just like her mom Amrita.
While Sara grabbed a lot of eyeballs for her revamped dressing sense, it was said to be a reflection Bebo’s company since Saif’s both kids share a good rapport with Kareena.
However, contrary to the reports, Amrita stated that the kids in generation have a mind of their own. They not just prefer taking their own decisions but also avoid any interference in their personal space.
Singh said that she doesn’t dominate the lives of her kids Sara and Ibrahim as even if she wanted to, they won’t listen to her.
“What if she had decided to not go to college? What could I do?”, Amrita added.
Speaking about Sara’s Bollywood debut, Amrita said that her daughter had made up her mind for acting since the age of four. However, she chose to complete her studies first.
There has been a buzz that ace filmmaker Karan Johar will be launching Sara in the sequel of his 2012 directorial ‘Student Of The Year’ opposite Tiger Shroff. It was also said that the Pataudi princess will feature in the remake of ‘The Fault In Out Stars’.
However, Amrita has rubbished the reports, saying Sara was never approached for SOTY 2. On the other hand, she mentioned that there was not point of her daughter being a part of ‘The Fault In Out Stars’ remake as the movie was shelved.
The veteran actress also clarified that though Sara will be making her debut in B-town soon, she hasn’t sign any movie yet.
“We are waiting for the correct project”, Amrita concluded.
