India is celebrating its 71st Independence Day today and Bollywood celebrities have given best wishes to their fans on social media. From Shah Rukh Khan to Akshay Kumar, Bollywood stars are celebrating the day in their own style. This is known to all that the connection of Hindi cinema with the patriotism is not new but not only in reel life, stars celebrate country’s Independence in real life as well.
Shah Rukh took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish his fans on the occasion. He tweeted, “Happy Independence Day to all of us.”
The actor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial venture Jab Harry Met Sejal that opened to mixed reviews.
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchcan also wished people on this occasion.
Akshay Kumar, who is receiving praises of his latest release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, also urged people to support soldiers. The actor in the past have made many films on the patriotic theme that won him praises.
Few days back, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with her little daughter Aaradhya hoised the Indian national Flag in Melbourne. She became the first Indian actress to receive the honour.
