Indian cricket team yesterday won many hearts and match by defeating Pakistan by 124 runs through Duckworth-Lewis method in ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Along with zillion cricket fans celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Ranveer Singh also congratulated the team for their wonderful performance.
Elated Amitabh took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate the team led by Virat Kohli. He tweeted, “T 2445 - And CONGRATULATIONS INDIA .. !! beat Pak in CL cricket by huge margin .. great to see all performing good !!”
Actor Ranveer Singh, who was also seen doing commentary during the match couldn’t control his excitement after India beat Pakistan. He tweeted, “Full power !!!!!!!!!!!”
Ranveer was very happy as he cheered team India. The actor appreciated th team in series of tweets saying that it was great start to the tournament.
Actor Dhanush also shared his excitement after India defeated Pakistan. He tweeted, “Done in style ... bleed blueeeeeeee !!”
Dhanush was also present during the match as he shared a picture with Sachin Tendulkar. He tweeted, “At the stadium .. Ind vs pak.. champions trophy :) and got to meet the one and only god of cricket @sachin_rt adrenaline pumping.”
People were eagerly waiting for India Vs Pakistan match and the men in blue didn’t disappoint their fans. They won with flying colours. ‘Man of the Match’ was given to Yuvraj Singh. India will play against Sri Lanka on June 8.
