Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all praises for his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s role in her latest movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Big B, speaking to a leading daily about changing times for women in Bollywood, said that Ash’s role in the multi-starrer was a strong one.
Mr. Bachchan, in the interview, said that characters like that of Saba (Aishwarya’s role in the movie) turn the tables on men.
In Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Saba is a poetess who has strong opinions about life. She plays an important part in shaping Ranbir’s character Ayan’s life as he draws inspiration from her.
The reaction from the superstar of the millennium puts a full stop on all the rumours that have been doing rounds of media. Grapevine went abuzz that the Bachchan family did not approve of Ash’s role, since the trailer of the movie released. It was reported that Aishwarya’s bold avatar in the movie and her getting on screen closeness with co-star Ranbir Kapoor, made the Bachchans livid.
