Actress Alia Bhatt who made her debut alongside Varun Dhawan with ‘Student of the Year’ praised him to the heights. She said that Varun had only improved in his career and had given only hit films. She further said that the actor was good in the comedy space and having 100 per cent trajectory rate. After ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, the duo is teaming up once again for ‘Badrinath Ki Dhulania’.
“It is shaping up quite coolly. It is a different film. We are shooting in Singapore now. So now Badrinath is going international. It (film) is in the same space. It is a heartland desi romantic film. I am looking forward to the film,” the actress said. On the work front, Alia is excited about her next film Dear Zindagi alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi and others.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is set to get into superstar Salman Khan’s shoes in Judwaa remake and the actor will be seen romancing Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the film. The movie will be directed by Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan, who also helmed the 1997 hit.
“It’s OFFICIAL.@taapsee and @Asli_Jacqueline with the two of me #Judwaa2,” the 29-year-old actor tweeted. The father-son duo last worked together in 2014 romantic-comedy Main Tera Hero. While Jacqueline has previously worked with Varun in Dishoom, Taapsee, who is riding high on the success of her film Pink, will be teaming up with an actor for the first time.
