However, Mid-Day in its recent reports has dismissed the rumours of Alia Bhatt dating Ranbir Kapoor. Their reports have a rather different story to tell.
According to the reports doing rounds, Alia Bhatt is dating not Ranbir Kapoor, but the founder and CEO of hike, Kavin Mittal. The duo met during the World Economic Forum in October 2017, after which they started seeing each other. They hit off instantly at their first meeting. A leading tabloid has quoted a source saying, “They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it’s certainly a friendship that can go a long way.” Additionally the source informed the tabloid that the duo hasn’t been spotted together till now, as “they don’t want to make a public statement yet”
This piece of information might disappoint those Ranbir-Alia fans who wanted to see them together in real life as well. However, none of Alia or Kavin has spoken anything about their relationship. On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi alondside Vicky Kaushal. She will also be featuring as the lead actress in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh. After this, she will be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra trilogy.
