Alia Bhatt is ringing in her 25th birthday today, ie on March 15. Unlike previous years, this year the Brahmastra actress is having a working birthday. Due to tightly-packed schedule, the actress is unable to leave Bulgaria, where will be celebrating her birthday with Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor. Early morning, Alia Bhatt gave us a glimpse of her character Sehmat from her upcoming film Raazi.
She also wished herself on her birthday, sharing the fact that the movies she does are the reason why she feels alive.

In her caption, Alia Bhatt also revealed that Raazi trailer will be out 25 days from today, ie on 9th April. Raazi is her upcoming venture with ace filmmaker Meghna Gulzar. It is based on a novel Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka. In the film, Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sehmat, a Kashmiri spy while Vicky Kaushal will be essaying Iqbal, a Pakistani soldier. It also stars Amruta Khanvilkar apart from Alia and Vicky. It is slated to release on May 11 this year.
Just a day ahead of her birthday, Alia Bhatt shared a picture of herself on her Instagram account. In the caption she wrote the lines of famous track ‘My Love’ from Westlife saying, ‘I wonder how, I wonder why’.
She has coloured her hair red, which is suggestive of her look for her upcoming film Brahmastra.
Brahmastra is Ayan Mukerji’s next directorial venture which features Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the coming times. The fantasy series will be a trilogy of which Brahmastra is the first part. It is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. It is scheduled to release in August next year.
