While audience in India will have to wait for a few hours to watch the highly talked about movie ‘Rustom’, few cine buffs have already seen it abroad. The first reviews of the movie are amazing and seem that the team of ‘Rustom’ has struck the right chord with viewers.
Based on the infamous 1959 K.M Nanavati case vs The State of Maharashtra case, Rustom features Akshay Kumar in the role of a naval commander. Rustom is tried for the murder of his wife’s lover and his wit of proving himself innocent makes for the crux of the movie.
Early reviews suggest at the brilliance that the director Tinu Suresh Desai is. Viewers have really appreciated his work in which he tells the tale of an explosive topic with subtlety. Tinu has apparently done a great job in portraying the courtroom drama making this thriller a must watch.

Viewers also are finding it difficult to not sing praises for Akshay. His portrayal of an honest officer who sticks with the prosecution throughout the case impressed the viewers.
The one drawback of this perfect movie comes with the supporting cast. Viewers did not seem quite happy with either of the performances of Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz or Arjhan Bajwa (the casanova lover Akshay kills). These actors, some say, do a great job at bringing the movie down.
