The bandwagon carrying stars who are supporting actor Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ just got a lot heavier. After stars like Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh lend their support to ‘Rustom’, superstar Rajinikanth has also wished best him best.
Rajinikanth, who usually stays away from Twitter took to the micro blogging site to give his heartiest wishes to the ‘Rustom’.

A happy Akshay thanked Rajinikanth for this and said that would really love if the Thalaivar saw the movie.

Now given the superstardom Rajinikanth enjoys, this will work in favour of Akshay’s movie as fans of the former don’t have a history of not following his words.
‘Rustom’ has gained a lot of support from the film fraternity. The first one to urge cine buffs to watch the movie was superstar Salman Khan. The queue then added stars like Ranveer Singh who promoted the movie in his style by pulling off a ‘Chupa Rustom’ act. Akshay’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ co star Sonakhsi Sinha too noisily asked people to watch ‘Rustom’ as she played drums. Earlier this morning Fawad Khan wished Akshay best.
Speaking about all the support which his movie is getting, Akshay said that it proves that the film industry is united.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the movie will release on August 12. It also features Esha Gupta and Ileana D’ Cruz in pivotal roles. The movie will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ at the box office.
