Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently sparked a controversy when he blamed late Rajesh Khanna, who is touted as the first superstar of Bollywood, for bringing mediocrity in the Hindi film industry.
His comments didn’t go down well with his daughter and wife of the late superstar, as both Twinkle Khanna and Dimple Kapadia criticized Shah for speaking ill about Khanna.
However, Rajesh Khanna’s son-in-law Akshay Kumar chose to keep mum on the issue. Though recently when he was quizzed if Shah’s comment about his father-in-law hurt him, Akshay reacted in a ‘let go of’ manner.

He said, “It’s okay. Everything is finished. He apologized. So everything is over. Let’s go ahead.”
Further, when he was asked to tell his opinion on the entire controversy, Akshay rather chose to answer in a diplomatic manner.
“Don’t try and get something out of me. Let this industry be together. We are all in peace. Don’t make it pieces. Everything is over. If he apologised, all should be gracious enough to let it go”.
Akshay has a valid point to make here. Guess it’s the final word over this controversy involving Naseeruddin Shah and Rajesh Khanna.
