Many people in the country were completely unaware about one of the bravest battles fought in the history of the nation and thus, Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra and Anurag Singh set out to tell the tale of 21 Sikh Soldiers in their upcoming film, Kesari. Starring Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh, Kesari is based on the life of 21 Sikh Soldiers who fought valiantly against a massive army of 10,000 Afghans. The movie is set in the times of Battle Of Saragarhi and showcases the mindset of the brave soldiers who fought till their last breath to defend their motherland. 

Today, the Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra arrived in Delhi to promote their upcoming film Kesari. When Akshay Kumar arrived in the city for the promotions of his film Kesari, his fans blocked the whole road in order to just get a glimpse of the actor.

Akshay Kumar shared the video of the whole incident and thanked his fans for such a heartwarming welcoming. He wrote, No Matter how many times in a year I come here, Delhi is always ready with a warm welcome. A big thank you from team #Kesari”

"I have a long way to go. I still want to do a lot. I want to keep on working. I don't want to stop at one point and have a particular image. I want to have different kind of images. I'm still discovering myself and have a lot time with myself to do so," Akshay Kumar said at a press conference in Delhi.

Helmed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar,  Kesari’s trailer surely left everyone in awe of the action and Akshay Kumar’s brave side. Akshay along with his battalion of soldiers fights a huge army of Afghan who want to take over the fort. The songs of the film also have been loved by the audiences. Now, the audiences can’t wait to see the film which is slated to release on March 21, 2019.
