New Delhi: Two of our home-grown ladies Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are making all the right noises in West. Their respective projects, Baywatch and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage; will undoubtedly give them a lot of mileage.
Seeing them make it big in Hollywood, one is forced to think why big Bollywood actors did not get huge projects. Interestingly, superstar Akshay Kumar has found a formula about why actors are neglected.
While speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Akshay said,
“The reason we are not going there is because no one is taking us. Just as North Indian heroines make it big in South and not heroes, we don’t stand a chance in the West like the actresses.”
It is as simple as that, according to Akshay.

The ‘Airlift’ actor also added that no substantial roles are offered to heroes. He went on,
“Say come to us with something like this. Sir, you are standing there and you will be seen in the second scene and die in the fifth scene.”
Akshay then on a serious note added that the reason why Bollywood actors fail to make it big in Hollywood, is because they are unfit.
The Khiladi Kumar was last seen in ‘Airlift’ which became one of the biggest grosser of 2016. His comedy flick, ‘Housefull 3’ is awaiting release on June 3 and he has another movie ‘Rustom’ coming up in August.
