Akshay, Amitabh, Randeep and Mika share Baisakhi ‘Vadhaiyyan’

Actor Akshay Kumar just added another feather to his cap by receiving the prestigious National Award in the Best Actor category for his film Rustom. And his previous success of Airlift, Jolly LLB 2 gives more reason of celebration for Akshay.

Actor Akshay Kumar just added another feather to his cap by receiving the prestigious National Award in the Best Actor category for his film Rustom. And his previous success of Airlift, Jolly LLB 2 gives more reason of celebration for Akshay

Meanwhile, Akshay was seen in a celebration mood on the pious occasion of Baisakhi today. The Jolly LLB 2 actor posted a beautiful picture on his Instagram extending his wishes to the world. 

The actor wrote, ‘’‪Baisakhi de is paawan parv diyan sabnu vadhaiyyan. Wahe Guru Ji sab da bhala karein.’’

The Sarabjit actor, Randeep Hooda also sharing his wishes on the festival of Baisakhi wrote, "Nanak naam, chadhdi Kala.. tere bhanne sarbat da bhala #HappyBaisakhi.’’

Pink actor Amitabh Bachchan also shared his best wishes for the harvesting festival Baisakhi. The actor took to his microblogging site Twitter to share his views.

The actor tweeted, ‘’Happy Baisakhi/Vaishakhi/Vasakhi for the 13th of April .. love and happiness !!’’

 
Punjabi sensation and singer Mika Singh too extended his wishes on the occasion. The singer who is also known as a hit machine, shared a beautiful picture on his Instagram wishing happiness for the festival Baisakhi.

Mika wrote, ‘’ On this blessed day of Baisakhi the day of harvest & happiness ,I wish you all joy wealth & good health.’’

Baisakhi is a harvest festival celebrated across India on 13th April every year. It is the day when farmers thank Lord Almighty and harvest the ‘rabi' crop.

It holds a very important place in every culture in India and is celebrated with immense joy and festivity across the country.

It is celebrated as the New Year for Tamil/ Malayali and Hindus, also known as Naba Barsha in Bengal, Vishakha in Bihar and Rongila Bihu in Assam. But for Sikhs it holds tremendous religious significance. Sikhs celebrate it as the birth of ‘Khalsa Panth'.
