Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta Wedding: Bride and groom share adorable moment at varmala ceremony

Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta wedding: Akash Ambani and his fiancée Shloka Mehta tied the knot in a dreamy wedding on March 9 in Mumbai. The couple got engaged last year in a starry affair which was attended by who's who of Bollywood. After a series of festivities, Akash and Shloka took the wedding vows last night. The big fat Indian wedding had guests from around the world. The guest list included UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki-Moon and his wife, former British PM Tony Blair and his wife and also, Google CEO Sundar Pichari and his wife.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding was also graced several politicians including Union Minister Smriti Irani, Kapil Sibbal. The wedding took place at Jio World Centre in Bandra, Mumbai.

The Ambanis give family goals as they posed together for paparazzi. The Ambanis were dressed in shades of pink. Also, groom Akash Ambani pays respect to his grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani ahead of his wedding ceremony.

Ranbir Kapoor looks dapper in maroon kurta along with payjama. He was accompanied by Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji. 

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan arrived at the wedding in a royal avatar. Twinning in shades of ivory, the couple looked every bit of regal.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai and his wife arrived in ethnic outfit at the wedding venue.

Jackie Shroff steals the show with his Indian look. The actor opted for white dhoti along with a matching kurta. He paired his outfit with mustard and green bandhini dupatta along with kohlapuris and shades. 

Aamir Khan arrived with his wife, Kiran Rao. The actor looked dapper in an ivory kurta, while Kiran stunned in black and golden outfit along with royal blue layer. With cool shades and gorgeous necklace, Kiran looked fabulous.

Former Prime Minister of England Tony Blair arrived with his wife Cherie Blair.

New Zealand cricketer Shane Bond and Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene papped outside the wedding venue. Music composer Anu Malik arrived with his wife and daughters.

The eldest son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd and daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta kickstarted the wedding festivities with dandiya night followed by three-days bash in Switzerland which was attended by Bollywood stars. On March 3, Akash and Shloka hosted a Harry Potter-themed bash for their guests. From the platform 9 3/4 to the exact replica of the dinner table at Hogwarts, the pre-wedding bash was a complete fun affair. Also, popular singer Guru Randhawa performed live for the audience and made them groove to some of his chartbusters. 

Later, the Ambanis and Mehtas came together for Anna Seva where they served 2000 underprivileged children. There was also a 'mehendi and mala' ceremony in which bride-to-be Shloka performed on Din Shagna Da along with her mom Mona Mehta. For unversed, the couple got engaged in June last year after Akash proposed Shloka in March 2018 in Goa.
