Actor Ajay Devgn is back on the silver screen with his latest film Raid. The movie has released today but his wife Kajol and son Yug have given their reviews. The actor is seen playing the role of an income tax officer in the film. He is receiving positive response for his performance. Along with Ajay, the movie also featured Saurabh Shukla in a pivotal role.
Kajol took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “My review of Raid:- Loved it. Laughed, clapped and wanted to take Amma home with me ! Yugs review:- I learnt about income tax!”
Well, the movie is based on the true events and talks about the longest raid that was conducted in 1981 in Lucknow. Along with Saurabh and Ajay, the movie also featured actress Ileana D'Cruz as Ajay’s wife.
Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who has earlier helmed projects like Aamir and No One Killed Jessica.
It is yet to be seen how much collection the film does in the coming days. On a related note, Ajay was last seen in filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s directorial venture Golmaal Again. The movie did wonderful business at the box office and even entered the coveted Rs 100 cr club.
