New Delhi: Ajay Devgn’s directorial ‘Shivaay’ is bagging a lot of attention these days. Stunning locations and breathtaking stunts have made ‘Shivaay’ one of the most anticipated movies of the year.
Also grabbing eyeballs is the female lead of the movie. ‘Shivaay’ will mark a debut for newcomer Sayyeshaa, who happens to be the grand niece of veteran actress Saira Banu.
While the movie holds a lot of importance for Ajay, everyone is wondering what made him cast a newcomer in his movie.
“When I saw Sayyeshaa’s screen test, I realised she has great potential. It’s rare to find someone who not only has a beautiful face, but is also a fabulous performer. Shivaay is a performance-oriented film and I needed a strong actress for this role,” Ajay told a leading daily.
The actor recently revealed the first look of Sayyeshaa from the movie where the lady is looking elegant with eyes filled with fear and distress. The picture also displays two distant icy mountain glaciers with a guy and a girl standing on their respective cliffs.
‘Shivaay’, also starring Abigail Eames and Erika Kaar among others, is expected to hit the screens on Diwali this year.
